The 4th annual Monrovia Music Fest will happen on Sunday, June 4th, 2017 from 12:00pm to 7:00 pm at the Library Park Memorial Fountain on Myrtle Avenue in Old Town Monrovia. The organizers are committed to bringing communities together through music and the mission is community connections in concert
There is something for everyone at the event. The Monrovia Music Fest will feature a craft beer garden, food trucks, non-profit activity booths, artisans, vendors, art and activities for the whole family.
The first Monrovia Music Fest (formerly Monrovia Days Music Festival) was created in 2014 by Monrovian and local business owner, Carole Anne Kaufman, a two-time world champion music whistler known as The Whistling Diva in an effort to reignite the community’s birthday celebration tradition. "The birthday parade and carnival were truly special events in Monrovia that brought everyone together, and I just couldn't stand to see that all go away. I am proud to have been a part of bringing new life back to the Monrovia Days weekend" said Kaufman. In 2017 the festival rebranded and moved its date two weeks later in an effort to bring more attention to each weekend. The Monrovia Music Fest has become the biggest music festival in the San Gabriel Valley east of Pasadena.
